The Community Cooking School is our very own purpose built cooking school and the heart of soul of Your Angel Charity food programs. We own it, we operate it and we use it to reach people in need, educate the wider community and bring people together over food.

Originally established as The Cook’s Cooking School as a revenue stream for Your Angel programs, our cooking school has evolved over the years. In 2019 we opened our kitchen doors to ALL as a Community Cooking School and we haven’t looked back since.

The Community Cooking School is about breaking down social barriers, building community and keeping the art of home-cooking (from scratch) alive. Our program spans community cooking classes, kids-only school holiday classes and convenient at-home meal solutions (Keep Calm Recipe Kits).  On a regular basis we open our doors for all to join our OzHarvest Community Cook-up’s as together we turn local “food waste” into delicious meals for food relief fridges & freezers across the region.

In addition to our wider community agenda we work closely with local service providers, such as Community Links Wellbeing, to deliver tailored initiatives that support the needs of their clientele. 

With low cost entry fee’s and Your Angel sponsorships (free entry) available across the board, The Community Cooking School food programs are available to anyone in our community looking to learn new skills, meet new people and mix food with fun.
